My kids LOOOVE crafts! So this time of the year, I am always on the lookout for easy Valentine’s Day crafts I can set up for them.
As much as they love crafts, I well… don’t. Lol. I hate to admit it, but at this point in my life, crafts are really not my thing.
I’m not into the setup or hunting down a bunch of different art supplies. There are usually 50,000 other things on my to-do list. Not to mention, any big activity that will require me to do a lot of cleanup makes me want to cry a little.
For this reason, at our house, we like to stick to simple craft projects that use basic art supplies. You should be able to easily find all the supplies needed for these projects at Walmart or Target.
Below you will find 35 easy Valentine’s Day crafts that your kids will enjoy making, without you having to spend hours dealing with preparation and cleanup.
35 Easy Valentine’s Day Crafts for Kids
These crafts are geared for ages 2-8, give or take a few years. These projects are easy enough for toddlers to do with some help. If you have older kids, you could probably give them the supplies, some brief instructions, and a picture of the finished project and let them handle it themselves.
I’m not going to lie, with a lot of these projects I would easily set everything up and leave my 9-year-old to supervise the 5 and 2-year-old while I tackle some of the never-ending chores around the house.
I have organized the crafts into three categories: painted crafts, construction paper crafts, and unique crafts. Just click the link above the picture to see the supplies and directions for each craft.
